On my crossfire 150 I can't seem to figure out how to add gear oil for the CVT transmission to change it. It was sitting for quite awhile before I bought it and I wanted to change that oil while I was doing the engine. I found the bolt to check the level and the bolt to drain it but no where to add more. I checked the owner's manual and it was no help at all.

the bolt where you check it is where you put the new in
measure out the amt you need
drain it first
use a funnel with tubing on it
or use a turkey baster
to fill it back up

thanks for the help, how much and what kind should I use for the transmission? The sticker near the check bolt say 15w-40 but I figured that wouldn't be good to use as gear oil.

your manual should tell you how much

I am new...so call me stupid....but I drained the transmission/final drive oil and the book shows where to "check it"....but if you only put in 750ml that the book calls for, it is too low to check! So do you fill it to the bottom of the fill plug, or just add the 750ml (and assume it is always full)?

This is on an Helix 150... Thanks!!

I have just over a quart in it now (at least 1000ml), and the oil still appears to be over 1" below the fill plug. Should I quit or keep adding? With typical vehicle rear ends, transfer cases, etc. it is generally filled to plug level...this????
