I am trying to revive a crossfire 150 with howhit gy6 on it ,my problem is that I can get it to start but can only use throttle if i have my hand across the carb intake other than that it just dies, I have cleaned everything in the carb is it my air fuel mixture? Help needed

could be your fuel mixture-could be gas cap vent plugged-have you reset the valves
how is your fuel flow

Hi I have good fuel flow and I have not touched valves but tell me where the mixture screw is ? the other thing I was thinking this morning could it be the choke because I didnt clean that.

check your choke-set your valves-if you have not modded your engine you do not need
to adjust your carb yet

I can get this cart to run well as long as it is not under a load, like if i jack it up it runs like a scaled dog but once on the ground it sputters and wont take off on its own

I'm with Olderthan- check the valve clearance. Is the vaccuum line on the intake hooked up?, does the carb have an open vaccuum line outlet? When running on the jack and throttling from the carb move it around to see if the intake has a crack or leak in it.
Can you post pic's of your carb?

spray carb cleaner around intake while running if idle changes while doing it you are
leaking at intake
