Has anyone tried this "dial-a-jet on the helix gy6 engine?

Do they make one for a GY6?

Do they make one for a GY6?

- They make kits for your type of motor.
- For example: Chinese 4-stroke, 150cc with Keihin carb. Cost is 74.95
- I'm going to try it to see if it will help compensate for the lean running in the winter.

I think I'd just rejet. I can have a new jet in about 15 minutes round trip.

The dial a jet is usually used to compensate for different altitudes. I don't understand why your running lean in the winter. Cold air will make some difference but not that much. How is the carb jetted now?

The current main jet is #114

The American sportworks carbs run very lean. We typically will bump to about a 128 in stock form and run successfully like that. We run that jet year round as well without issue. The problem is that their carb's are not consistent but MOST will take a 128 and be happy with it.

i went from a 114 (stock) main jet to a 125 when i put my uni on the carbide and it starts and runs fine. plug color is good too.

I tried one on a GY6 and could not get it to run right. In fact, I couldn't get it to stay running after I installed it. Garbage, IMO.
