Has anyone done the BMI rear axle replacement for the Yerf Dog 3206 or am I better off buying the beefed up one from buggy depot?

Here is the contents of the page:

1" solid live axle 36" #400036 $22.00
40" #400040 $25.00

2ea. 1" axle nuts 400050 $0.95 ea.

2ea. 1" axle bearings #400150 $4.49 ea.

2ea. 6" 1/4x1/4 keystock $1.45 ea.

2ea. 4 bolt 1" sprocket hub #AZ2286 (1 for brake 1 for sprocket)
$12.99 ea.

2ea. 1" 4 on 4 wheel hub #260050 $12.49 ea.

2ea. 8" 4 on 4 rim #260080 12.99 ea.

I bought my three hole bearing flangettes at Bomgaars for $1.79 ea.
and two 1" hubs # 151-2129 that I put behind the rear hub on the axle
for $4.49ea. also at Bomgaars. You could also use a 1" locking collar
for this.

The part # for the front 4 on 4 hub with 5/8 bearings is #260055 and
they are #12.99 ea.

the 8x4 4 on 4 wheels for the front are #260084 and they are $10.99
ea.

I ordered all of this online from ************* shipping was $27.00 and I had the parts in 3 days

BMI's axle is stock (he's a top quaility merchant)-Is BD still selling the HD axles? I went through 2 of BD's HD axles (both bent first day of use- both ended up with wore out splines on the hubs after a week) (I got 2 used HD axles for sale cheap!!!!!) till I decided to quit spending major bucks on bolt-on parts and start fabbing the stuff myself. Currently have had ZERO issues with my set-up now and I got the additional width needed to prevent roll-over.

What are you using for an axle. I just put bigger tires on my spider box and heard the stock axle won't last long. BD's axle upgrade is already bent out of the box. They are selling them at a discount. Something about a srewed up heat treat. That does not sound good.

Retired this buggy due to continous frontend problems (this is the factory pic)http://www.buggymasters.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=487&d=1276368106
I thought I posted my home built swingarm mod.with the axle & bearings I took out from under the Jehm BX125. Anyway it's on my wife's black Spiderbox- the axle is 1-1/4" hex, if I remember correctly it's 9" wider than the stock Spiderbox axle- if you haven't seen it: http://www.buggymasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1159
Any axle issues are nonexistent!!!! They still sell the Jehm BX125 so you could buy parts.I think it would be "REAL" expensive to buy all the stuff I put into her buggy- I did it over a couple of years so the financial impact was in spurts!!!Not trying to promote her buggy but if you didn't see the vid doing donuts shows how stable it is with that axle/swingarm mod.: http://www.buggymasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2015
