I think I am going to email them and ask them why they don't come up with a 250. I really like their machines and have had really good luck with them but want more power!

in my opionon they are the best gocarts EVER!!!
i had a helix and sold it and now have a carbide

Nope, it is the same engine as the Helix (150cc) but with four wheel brakes, speedo, and a few other ammenities.

I dont know i'm just looking around maybe something that gives it more power or something that could give it a whole more better performance.

look at this thread. I get my performance parts from McDounough powersports. Eric is a great guy to deal with and usually stocks all the parts. I may start selling performance parts some day.

they used to have a 250 carbide it was sweet!! they stopped making it though..., i want a 250 helix!!!

Actually, that carbide was powered by a regular ol' go kart engine. If they came out with something like a carbide or a helix powered by something like a SYM 250, that would be really awesome.

i found this when i was looking for a go kart... its a 265cc carbide lol

Thats funny there is one of thoes 265cc carbide for sale near me looks like a 10hp robins engine on it

AMS runs their company almost like Tomberlin, The select a product that can be sold more quickly to the large retailers. Both companies are toying with a 250 option but both have not jumped in the game yet.

If you want more power on the 150's there is plenty of options to bring these little monsters up into the 40's and even 50's if you want to spend the money on the upgrades
