I just bought 2 new Kazuma 150 cc buggies with the gy6 engine in them and I noticed that the engine appeared to be sitting a little crooked in one of the buggies after about an hour of riding... I looked around and noticed that one of the rubber bushings in the front motor mount was hanging out and the ear that attaches to the mount was bent. Has anyone ever seen this happen before? I've got an idea on how to upgrade and stiffin the mount but i was just hoping to hear from someone who may have already ran into this problem.

I've never had that happen on one yet but that could be one of the little downfalls on that particular model. If you have a way to upgrade it, I would say go for it and be sure to let us know how you did it and how it held up.

My pops had that happen on his kinroad 150. I was testing cvt setups last weekend and noticed my Joyner was missing both front mount nuts. The whole motor raised up and was laying on top of the mounts

I think im gonna replace the 2 bolt front mount system, add a spacer between the 2 ears and use one long bolt to tie the whole thing together... this way the ears have nowhere to go. they can't bend in either direction. My brother in law works at a machine shop and is in the process of making the custom spacers now.

Got the spacer in and the motor straightened back up... rode it all weekend and its holding up good.... I'm going to go ahead and modify the second buggy now.

Buy a new mount(for a pattern) and carry it to a machine shop, have some made out of delrin, then forget them.
