View Full Version : Manco 720L Broken SwingArm
So i was having issues with the chain slipping off everytime i would hit a bump at high speeds or a sharp turn, so i decided to take a closer look. Big Problem!!!!
So do you guys think welding would work or should i fork out the "buck & half" for the new swing arm

Well...that would explain it. A weld would be fine provided you have a good welder (I mean the person doing the welding)

The same thing happened to me with my old manco. I took it to a local auto shop and they re-welded it for me.
What worries me is that it is broken in 3 places, i wonder if i need new shocks for this puppy?

I wouldn't think old shocks would cause this. If anything, older shocks would be softer and this would be less likely to happen. I think you just might have been riding it a bit hard.
