Anyone know what this center hole is for under seat?
 

Just installed a new seat on this project kart, and it seems like (I may be wrong) there was something in this center hole? Does anyone with a Manco Fox Tracer LXT, model #485B-2 recognize what this might be for?

On a side note, when installing the new seat, the bolts for the seat adjuster push all the way into the wood bottom of new seat, just seems funky, and like something's not fitting right. But from the American Sportworks manual I found online, I've installed it correctly? Any thoughts?

There's no mark from a bolt, maybe there wasn't anything there.

Probably an instance of the same panel being used in another model kart which had a use for that hole.
