Good morning guys,

Im a diesel tech for Detroit diesel well to make a long story short I received a garage kept 2004 Yerf dog that was used for 2 months and sprung a fuel leak. Me being a mechanic was asked to get it running I rebuilt the carb and re did the wiring and got her running the plug was still gapped to .025 this unit is in amazing condition.... Well I need some help the owner doesn't want it and wants to just give to me for 500$. Is it worth that also I need some help with the vaccum line routing I have it running now any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome , around here worth $500 all day long , my buddy just sold a non running parts/project Spiderbox for $400 . I sold two a couple years back in nice shape for $2200 for the pair . Then again last year I found one Mint like yours for $550 . I'd jump on it . Not too much vacuum routing on a Spiderbox , I'll have to look at mine , the only thing that comes to mind is the little diaphragm on the side of the carb , and maybe one port on the intake , will have to look
mostly vents and breathers .

thanks for the advise plan is to build it... Like I said I am a tech I have a Polaris 570 and a 13 ecoboost f150 in 33s this is just something random I fell into.... ok so I re did the whole carb ... got it running fine just a couple small things im lost on like the poor these things are slugs lol. I read you can get some plug in module to help.... also plan is to lift it and put atv tires under it.... can the electrical system support any other accessories? these things don't charge the battery correct?

Yes , there is a charging circuit , yes there are performance CDI's , coils , etc. , personally I don't think you get any benefit from those unless you're going with a big bore kit , or performance head , cam , exh. , etc. Slugs'? No , not if they're running right and the CVT is working right . They do the job , remember they're just 150cc . There are lots of suspension , chassis mods. to be had . You found the right forum , See Ya .
