Quick Electric choke question
 

I have a electric choke on my Runtong carb.

When I apply power it does nothing. Should it energize the coil
and pull in?

If it is dead, beside on the internet who has found them local?

It is on a yerf dog and the only wiring diagram I found shows the power for the choke goes through a resistor. I do not see a resistor on my CUV so it may be missing or not the right diagram.

I am assuming it is 12v unless the resistor drops the voltage if i supposed to have one.
