CDI upgrade on an AC buggy (carter talon 150cc)
 

Hello,

I have had friends upgrade their cdi and it has treated them well. I was wondering if any one out there has purchased this one from Scooter Parts Express (SPE) ? I know of one other person who has and it worked fine, but I want some more backup before I just go buy one. If you did not buy this one, where did you buy yours and what is your experience?

yep i sell them and use them and they work pretty well.
if anyone is interested i have this cdi and a coil combo for $30 i had 10 and have 4 left. if anyone wants call 941.286.6703 between 3/8pm.

What kinds of gains do you get with that combo?

my opinion it just makes everything seem crisper. real gains were made by the head, slide carb, my exhaust and a uni. the cdi/ coil just compliments all of that. but even adding that to a stock setup, i wouldnt say it'll make massive gains but it will make what you have seem a bit more alive.
