new problem after curing hard start issue
 

After valve adjustment fixed my hard starting problem, now she smokes!? I adjusted valves and installed new iridium plug, my buggy starts and idles all on its own. Has decent power and all seems to be working great but now it smokes the whole time and I seem to have to keep close eye on the oil. Is this a normal condition or am I looking at rings or valve seals, if it uses them. It is a Talon GX125

definitely top end. continuous smoking is normally rings. if your that deep in it , beings its a 125, might as well bump it up to a 150 or 155 and do at least a valve job on it and new valve seals

Kinda what I thought :( well winter is near and if she will finish the summer I have been talking about the big bore kit. Tom with SYC said it will fit, I believe. Guess I will just start out next season with more punch!!! Is it normal though for these engines to use a little oil?

well no, in your case though, all that smoke is oil being burned. you can run it that way, just keep checking it and topping it off.

Its definitely using it but man these things are a grin a minute!! I'm running it for now!! Any recommendations on best supplier for the kit for the price? I seen full kit for$188
