Uni filter, sucking noise
 

Does anyone's else hear a sucking noise coming from their uni filter? It is a continuous sucking sound like a tick tick tick.......but sucking sound.
Wondering if maybe buggy is trying to get more air? Or is this normal?

Spray carb cleaner around the carb area for leaks. If its leaking that's the sucking sound your hearing.

Did that. No change is rpm's, tried manipulating carb, uni, and intake. All is okay. It is just a sucking noise. I will try to make vid tomorrow for a better sound and explanation.

I am still working on the jetting :( but here is a vid of the noise I was trying to describe.

I can't really tell thru my phone.... try listening at your CVT intake and see if the noise is coming from there instead. If it is it's normal. It's suppose to. Air gets sucked in thru there to keep thing's cool inside the clutch and variator... let us know.

The noise is definitely coming from the uni end of the carb.

It is normal hear a suction noise thru an open filter since there is no housing around it. but if you are hearing a whistle spray the rubber nipple with WD40 or a carb cleaner to see if there is a crack in it causing the noise.
