Intake and jetting 30mm pumper

Hi Folks,
I bought this air upgrade package from Buggypartsnw:
https://www.buggypartsnw.com/index.p...e-level-4.html
I need a velocity stack for a 30mm carb or the material sizes for making a redneck intake. The Uni is 2" opening. Who makes a stack for these carbs or what size couplers and pipes are the tried and true redneck ingredients? Also, 30mm is probably more carb than I need for now, so how should I jet it? I ride at sea level on Sunoco 110 standard racing fuel.

All the stuff for a velocity tube can be had down at the local DIY store in the plumbing section. you'll need a couple of 1-3/4" rubber joint connectors and a 6" length of 1-3/4 pipe. the connectors have a inner dim of 1-3/4 and a outside dim. of 2". one connector slip over the pipe and carb inlet. The uni slips completely over the pipe and the other connector.
not sure how that 30mm carb will work with a stock head. May not get the full benefits out of it but the pumper capabilities will give you good throttle reaction. Going to be a little tricky to get it jetted right. If the carb is a Kehin clone, which most all are, the you'll need kehin # 99101-393 main jets and # N424-21 pilot jets. , With a 30mm head and intake along with a 1'' exhaust I'm using a 38 pilot and a 145 main so that may give you an idea of the range of jets you may need.

Aaaand that, is why I love this forum. Yeah, going to get a 59mm BBk and 4 valve head over the winter..

Where did you find this size pipe? I've been to like 6 stores and can only find 1.5" or 2" no 1.75"

I don't see why you can't get either size. ....
As long as you have a coupler that fits or has a reducer ( larger on one end, smaller on other).
Take carb and uni with you to store for sizing. Don;'t be afraid to open packages:evil:

Got it all installed and it fired right up. Still need to adjust tension on the throttle cable, and hopefully find some flexible couplers that are a little less thick. Hammerhead racing exhaust sounds bad ass. Not sure if the throttle cable is in the correct (out of the three) bracket, but seems to run good. Thanks again to all the good souls that lend wisdom and advise!
