Hammerhead GT 150 upgrade
So I have put a 1500 RPM torque spring in the clutch and I am thinking of replacing the clutch springs with 1500RPM springs, do you guys think thats good or should I go with stiffer springs. Thanks

Good choice on the yellow torque spring. You really don't have to mess with the 3 arm springs that's up to you though. You'll want to look into putting on 11or 12 gram sliders if you haven't already. That will make a differance in torque bottom end. If that's what ur looking for.

I already have put 10g sliders into it, you mentioned 11 or 12, how much will these affect performance rather having the 10g.

I wouldn't go with the heavier clutch springs, it will only delay engagement until the engine reaches a certain RPM, which will be higher than stock. You have the 10 gram sliders in, that should be all the delay you need with an otherwise stock-ish engine. If you were to go with a heavier slider, the CVT would start engaging at a lower engine RPM, and you might feel it takes off a bit slower than the 10's. You may gain a few MPH on the top end, but I would stick with what you have.

I have had weak clutch spring for awhile now because it engages and jerks on me when I am at rest and no my idle on my kart is not high. So I figured instead of getting the stock springs that I get a little tighter springs so it would solve that issue. If that doesn't solve the issue i have a warped clutch bell.

Didn't know what sliders you had 10 gram is good. Also check ur clutch pads see if a piece broke off or something. Keep in mind before buying parts for ur clutch you can buy a whole clutch assembly for around $60. And just put the yellow torque spring on only. Stock clutches are durable and reliable. And cheap. Trust me they last. :)

I will keep that in mind next time, I will get a new clutch if those springs don't fix the problem. Thanks miamieddie

In the stock variator those 10gr. sliders will act like 8gr. rollers. 10gr. rollers good, or 12gr. sliders.
