cyclinder power

an easy way to make to much power is to put domed piston in the cyclinder makes alot of power:eek:

funindamud 07-22-2009 11:30 PM

a domed piston will only incerase the compression ratio... but a stroker crank and a domed piston will increase power..

24evanwilson 07-23-2009 11:43 AM

yep!

BuggyMaster 07-23-2009 09:11 PM

I don't think you'll gain too much with the domed piston but the need to use high octace fuel. The stroker would be the way to go!

24evanwilson 07-23-2009 09:17 PM

yea i guesss!

funindamud 07-23-2009 09:41 PM

ive run 110octane VP race fuel that a freind of mine had sitting around for 3 months and he said that it lost its octane... i ran it and re jetted the carb with the big bore kit and you could really tell the diffrence the higher octane cas did to the performance...

24evanwilson 07-23-2009 09:44 PM

i bet!

funindamud 07-23-2009 09:52 PM

its not a big 100HP gain but its just got more getty-up...

BuggyMaster 07-23-2009 09:53 PM

hell if I'm going to do all the work, I'm going with the biggest available. can't think of a reason not to.

funindamud 07-23-2009 09:55 PM

so your not gonna build the motor yourself?

24evanwilson 07-23-2009 09:56 PM

hes right about the getty up though

BuggyMaster 07-23-2009 09:57 PM

Ya, I will actually. Not till I blow something up or wear one out though...well maybe sooner...we'll see.

24evanwilson 07-23-2009 09:59 PM

dad did it with his bansheee

funindamud 07-23-2009 09:59 PM

if your not gonna want to build the motor yourself you can accually buy a 180cc with stroker crank, machined head, and a HP cam... heres the link...
