Targa 150 reverse shift erratic
 

New to the community. I just bought a tao Tao Targa 150, when I shift into reverse sometimes the unit clicks into reverse sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes I hear a clunk when it clicks into reverse and sometimes it jumps out of gear. Gearbox has oil in it no obvious damage to linkage. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks

Sounds like the cable needs to be adjusted.

Thx for replying, can u tell me how to do it or where I can find the tech data for it. There are three places to do adjustments at and I don’t want to make this problem any worse.
