I like it

Niice! Looks great! You know....now that you have spare tires, I might take 'em off your hands... :p (I'm serious though).

Dirtroad 12-14-2013 04:50 PM

Im not sure what it would cost to ship them.

jmansracerocket 12-15-2013 08:53 AM

everytime I see one of these carbide buggys it makes me want to buy one

Masteryota 12-15-2013 09:52 AM

The carbides are sexy, but I have an affection for the Helix. Something about the factory floorboards makes me all warm and fuzzy.

Well, that mainly depends on weight. If I were to buy them, would they include the rims, too?

Dirtroad 12-15-2013 12:05 PM

Sorry no rims, i dont have spare rims lol

I have the tires on craigslist for $70, you cover shipping and they are yours.

TheFauxFox 12-15-2013 02:47 PM

So...could you look up the measurements and weight and give me a ball-park estimate on shipping just the two fronts?

Edit: After looking up approximate weight measures for the tires, looks like they weigh around 15lbs a piece. I also just went to USPS.com and if you ship a 15lb tire (they actually let you ship tires without packaging...I think thats neat :p) that is 20in long, 7in tall, and 8in wide, they charge about $25 a tire. I'd be willing to do that. What about you, dirtroad?

Dirtroad 12-15-2013 06:32 PM

Im sorry, i meant $70 plus shipping.

Dosent sound like its worth shipping them

TheFauxFox 12-15-2013 07:17 PM

Yea, I can't afford 120 right now. At that rate, I might as well get some knobbies I found from rockymountainatv for $39 a pop.

Thanks for the offer, though.

Does the new rubber decrease speed?

jmansracerocket 11-23-2014 10:02 PM

bringing back an old thread from the dead lol

The increased tire height should increase top speed and decrease take off speed/torque.
It looks like he has adaquatly compensated for the loss of torque by adding 10g sliders and 39 tooth axle sprocket.
