Gy6 150cc long shaft help.
 

Hello I have a kandi kart that had a gy6 with internal reverse. Well that motor is gone. I do still have the chain gear. I now have a new short case with a long shaft gy6. Now this is my question, how can I use the long shaft without a reverse gearbox. Can I just mount the chain gear right on the shaft somehow?
