Trail tech, gas gauge? a few questions

Ok since I'm rewiring my buggy (kinroad 150) and adding all the bells and whistles I'm looking at adding a trail tech vapor to it. Figured it'll be easier to add the wiring now. So the question is who has added a gas gauge to their buggy? What sender is easy to add to the tank? I looked around to see how a factory setup was but all I can find good pictures are on tanks without a sender.

On the bottom of my tank there is some electrical connection but the wires have been ripped off. There isn't a float in the tank so does anybody know what that thing was?

Ive had a couple of buggys with the fuel gauge but none of them worked and havent really found any replacement sending units and ive got one buggy with the float in the tank but no electrical connections....just a rubber plug in the top of the tank.

Yeah everything I've seen about the factory setups on scooters are they are either worthless or don't work. I've already been welding on the tank changing the metric thread petcock to a standard threaded one and flipping the tank mount to the top of the rear rack bars to have more clearance. I do know how to air out a fuel tank and weld on it.

I'm just the type my ocd kicks in if I have a gauge cluster sitting in front on me with an blank spot that can be working, I want it working.

Did you ever figure out the gas gauge?

Nope, sorry. Life came up and other more important things came first. One of these days I might look into it but it's low on the totem right now.
