169cc 6.5 hp go kart preformance

Hi, I need help. I have a 169cc 6.5 hp manco/ silver fox go kart that is not "mud ready" What are some ways i can enhance its performance on all terrain?

Welcome to the site. How about some pics of your ride so we can see what needs to be addressed the most.

Welcome. I have a Manco vortex. It is the same kart except I have double a-arm suspension. If you are going mudding you will need to have a cover over your torque converter. If the belt gets wet you lose all your power. you will need mud flaps for sure. The 6.5 hp is not bad but you will need more torque. Adjust your driven pulley spring to hole #1. I just took off the stock 60tooth sprocket on mine and put a 40 Tooth sprocket. I lost top speed but gained some torque.
I would make sure first of all your cover is on.

Looking at your pictures it looks as if you do have the protective plastic covers.
