I decided to do away with the key switch on the
Crossfire.
It wasn't working right and I like the simplicity of the
Yerfdog 3206.
The Yerf has toggle switch to kill the CDI like the Crossfire, but it only has a push button to start. :idea:
After studying the wiring on the Yerf 3206 and the Crossfire, I believe I can make the following modifications to make it work:
1. Cut the green wire going from ignition switch to CDI #4 terminal and tie it in with the other ground wires at the engine end.
2. Connect black ground and green/yellow going to starter soleniod to momentary push button switch at the old ignition switch location to start.
3. Leave existing kill switch unchanged.
