Hello everyone! If anyone read some of my previous threads, you'll know that I tried epoxy-ing in a brass fitting to my gas tank. That didn't work out too well. Since I finished my science fair trials yesterday, the kart is now grounded, gas tank and battery removed, and I am contemplating painting it... But on that note, the gas tank is so screwed up, I just want to dump it and get a new one. What I'm looking for is something like the one that was put on the Carter XTVs (
this), but I can't find these. Preferably, this tank would cost me less than $50... However
this is the closest I have come to something like it. I just don't need 10 gallons, nor do I want to spend $100 on that. I'll sooner replace my ball joints and use a water bottle as a fuel tank that buy that!
Anyone have opinions/ideas/pics?
