Scored some nice 530 atv/motorcycle chain on e-bay
Great price, guy did 4 for $52. including shipping. well worth it! He has more, way better than tractor supply 50 series chain.

Replaced the blown out bearing with a spare, put in a new jackshaft from BMI and put new 10 T sprockets on in place of the 11s.
Replaced the 13T idler with a 15 and a larger dia. bearing to cool it down. Also working on a tensioner for the top side of the chain run.
Engine side I tested a few drive sprockets and went with a 14T giving me 4.34 final ratio. I tried a 6.08 ratio and it was just too painful winging it up to 8500 at 5 mph in First--top speed was under 30 in 5th
Some carb modding and tuning later and it seems to pull that gear pretty well. Intake adapter tube length was killing it, i finally chopped the old mikuni spigot off (really hated to cut up that roundslide, it was still in excellent shape) and fitted it over the TM's spigot so i could put the carb directly in the boot. Really woke her up!

Hoping to get to a buddy's property with some hills to test whether it can pull any gear uphill before the race in 3 weeks. IUf it c an't, then it's either a 5.50 or 6.08 ratio--which is why i'm adding a tensioner ...
