The ignition switch is a simple OFF-ON-MOMENTARY ON switch. None of the three wires going to the switch is a ground. There is a positive input wire, then 2 positive outputs. One output goes to the ignition, the other to the starter relay.

Don't ask me which color wire is which. Take a 12+ test light or multimeter to the wires and it should be simple to find out. One is going to be constantly hot. For the other two, connect 12+ to each wire and when the starter fires, you've figured out the other two.
