For some reason I thought the CVT was inside the differential. So if I'm correct, the chain replaces that portion of the drive line. Not having seen the original setup, I didn't know.
I'm making progress, cleaning the carbs, starting on the wiring, trying to figure out where everything will go, how it will shift, and so on.
I'll need to figure out something for the headers once I get it running..
