basically correct, though this one may or may not originally had a belt drive cvt sytem, it may have been chain driven from the original 250. Does it have a High and Low or is it just F-N-R? Not sure how they set them up with a divorced FNR box but if that gearbox will live, you can run it essentially how it's set up now and the 750's trans will handle the shifting. you may end up wanting to change the sprocket on the FNR, if you find the final ratio is not to your liking.
