Re-jet= Removing old main/pilot jets, and installing new ones, normally bigger for an air filter upgrade. The bigger the jet, the more fuel it lets into the engine. Keeping a steady 14.7:1 air to fuel mix is very important for both the running condition and the longevity of said engine. Running lean destroys pistons, and running rich will foul plugs and cause excessive carbon on everything.

Most of these carbs have screw in jets. Look at some vids on youtube about jetting scooter carbs, they are similar, if not the same. Once you remove the jet, you will need to match it to another jet to be able to source the part. You may need to measure with a metric micrometer to get the dimensions correct, and the jet 'size', or hole diameter should be stamped into the side of the jet itself.
