I ran one of those little doodle bugs for a while with the stock engine but later I dropped a Honda 5.5hp in it and man what a ride. The first time one of my brothers rode it (having some fun in front of all of our kids) he wasn't expecting the torgue curve and it jumped right out from under him running a stock clutch and the original rear sprocket. It even carried me up some pretty steep hills in the AZ mountains with no trouble. The only hard part was trying to stay on it bouncing from rock to rock with no suspension. Later I switched it over for 4 fat tired Baja mini bikes.
