You want to turn the A/F screw out till it stops raising the idle, then set the idle with the idle set screw and adjust the A/F screw again. Repeat till the idle is where it belongs.

If you're out more than 2-1/2 turns with the A/F screw, then you need a larger idle jet, if you're out less than 1 turn then you need a smaller idle jet. Any where between 1 turn and 2-1/2 turns and your idle jet is good.
