I think the stock setting is about 2-1/4 turns out from lightly seated, but you should set it at the point the engine likes (in or out from 2-1/4 to get the highest rpm). The float height should be the first thing you check though. Stock height is 18-19mm.

I just checked my original carburetor specs. Stock settings on 2012 Trailmaster 150xrs: air/fuel screw 1-1/4 turns out (The manual says to turn the screw in gently until it stops, then back it out 2-3/8 turns. Then turn it in counter clockwise to achieve the highest rpm. Idle rpm =1400). Pilot jet =35. Main jet =111. Float height =18mm.

Like stated on the other forum, check the auto choke for proper operation.
