I would like to get a decent mix of low end and speed, but realistically, over 40mph in a non-race kart seems sketchy to me, so there's my limit. What did you mean by ditching the swing arm, exactly? If I had the time/money/tools available, I would LOVE to do IRS, but money is the main limiting factor here. The main reason I want to drop the GY6 is the CVT, I wouldn't want to go back with the polaris type tranny, plus I had an old xplorer 300 and got the belt wet once, and it never was right after that, hence why I want a clutch and gearbox set up. Honestly, most of the riding will be semi rough terrain, and trail riding. End goal is to be able to take this thing out to the national park trails with rolling hills(Ocala) and be able to run with some of the sport quads, but not at their speeds, of course.

I am redoing the front end first, I know this is the Achilles heel of the spiderbox, and hopefully have this done before July, with that, I will be looking at 18-20" front tires and possibly 22" for the back, this is another reason I was thinking of starting from scratch and incorporating a bigger, longer axle to even out the tracking a bit.
