The gearbox (I hear) is simply not easy to work with as it is integrated, and if something fails that cannot be replaced, you can replace it.

Also, if you have something that you know that you are constantly going to push, with the possibility of parts breaking, are you going to pick a modular or a non-modular design? And right minded person would pick modular as replacements/repairs can be made with ease in case of a failure in the parts. Just my thoughts...
