That my Carter manual showed, from "gopowersports.com" part no. 6.000.125...its the same size as the one I fried. Gonna send it back, but now I'm not sure if it may be an ac / dc issue. I read somewhere that the ac units are smaller in size, and the dc are bigger...
The New voltage regulator/rectifier was an exact match.
