CDI upgrade no spark
I have 2 crossfire 150 non r
GY6 motors LH157QMJ motors I bought Performance CDI,s I bought them from ********** online The dont seem to work ! NO spark ! Should be plug and play. Stator is stock not sure how many poles never open it up. My stock CDI is prong 3 nule so i know i dont have a dc CDI . Any Idea,s on what i can do ? or were to look? Hmmm..you sure the replacements were DC based?
Personally, I don't put all my money in CDI's. They are most beneficial with mods that require it. |

the dc units look just like ac unit, on your cdi there is a 2 wire plug, if there are two wires going into that plug you have a ac fired system. also check to see if there is a signal ( very low voltage ) coming from the pick up coil wire, most are blue with a white stripe

My Gy6 is a AC system and the Perforance cdi,s i bought are AC , but no spark once plug in , so im not sure what the issue is . Hate to think i bought them and cant use them , is the stock staor enough ?

I have AC system on my GY6 , the cdi,s i bought are AC , no spark !

the stock stator wil be fine. coming from the stator side of the case are some wires, look and see if one is blue with a white stripe, that one goes to the cdi. check to see if their is a low voltage signal coming from it
