Found a two seater Dazon in South Carolina near Greenville for $900. Little too far to look at. He only had one picture and doesn't seem like he wants to send anymore. Still looking.

Crossfire sounds like a good deal, but I know from personal experience the Dazons are very durable too! sounds a little pricy though.

But you could get a reverse gear kit for it @ $200 and the bullets would b flyin' the other way & you'd have a sweet croosfire for cheap!

Your going to need the longer output shaft, shifter assembly(welder not included),cable, brkts, and reverse box. ********** used to sell the whole kit for the yerfdog but I do believe it cost more then 200.00. Don't know if they still sell the complete set but I would try them first. A good reverse case will run you 200.00 alone, there are cheaper ones out there but they tear up easily and don't last half the time a good one will .

All I can tell you is what it will need since I have no idea what the Bay site has. Shifter handle detent/ bracket, cable, rev box, long shaft to fit that rev box, shaft spacer for rev. box used, small sprocket, support brkts. for rev box.

That looks like no other rev unit for a GY6 engine. It almost looks as it is for a shaft drive. I wouldn't think it will work.

Depending on which gear box you get there are 3 different long shafts that are known of. Two are common ones used in many of the buggies, but one is an odball which was found on cheaper buggies. Of the 2 common shafts one is getting harder to come by which was used by Carter. The other shaft was used by HammerHead and Kinroad and other better brands. You need to make sure the shaft is the correct one for the rev box. I worked with a customer not too long ago and neither of the shafts I had access to would work. Finally he set his mind on one of the 2 I had and tried to make it work which he did but constantly had problems with chain and finally the box went bad. This was due to it not linning up properly. The problem today is nobody uses the external rev. box for they have all gone to the internal rev. If you get a kit make sure that either you get a kit with the proper shaft or know before you purchase the rev box if the shaft you will be getting will fit the gearbox correctly. There was a place who used to sell the complete kit with shifter handle assy, cable and the proper shaft for which I had mentioned before but I guess admin edited it cause the next time I looked at the post the name was edited out. I guess that is a no no. If you PM me I'll let you know who it is but I'm not sure if he has them anymore. If not he may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Tom, anytime you try to post the other other guy's place, it is edited out. I think it's out of respect for the vendors that support this site.

Zman, I have that shaft you have posted in the pic (197mm long) if you're interested in it for $25 shipped. Like New, maybe had 5 miles on the shaft?

I will say that the longer one (I think it's a 212mm) worked out best for me on my Howhit GY6 (Yerfdog) That is why I no longer need the 197mm

I agree just build that bad boy. Obama has just said everything is good with the economy and that we can do anything if we put our minds to it with Congress's cooperation, so call your congressman and tell hin to cooperate and start building. The link below will show what you can do, so call tomorrow.

My buggy in my avatar is for sale. 2005 I think, Dazon Raider. It’s in great shape. Brake master cylinder might need replacing. Little sticky(probably from not riding). We just don’t ride it anymore. $1200
Please email me at mikesteele322@gmail.com if interested.

Yes it is. I have a daughter that I was thinking about getting the same buggy for, but that time has pasted us bye. We have had lots of fun on this fine machine. Time for someone else to enjoy.
