Default Still having issues

So i fixed the the starter and im still having problems
the only way i can get it to turn over is to pump the gas and then it will only run for about 30 seconds. i have good spark . im stumped

Default will not start

I treid cleaning the carb, and after taking it off and on 5 times I just bought a new one off Ebay for 28.80 shipped....problem solved. Sounds like your card is clogged

I'd verify that you have a good fuel flow to the carb- are the vacuum lines hooked up from the intake to the carb? Is the fuel enrichment valve (choke) working/wired correctly? Sometimes the carb isn't the only culprit!!! A valve adjustment is always good when getting a used GY6 - as most people don't do simple maintenance.

Yes dont forget to adjust the valves. My cart would not start because the valves where to tight

vacuum line are good its getting gas cleaned the carb. the previous owner said he put a bigger cam in and i have a 30mm carb and performance exhaust. im going to go out and get a new choke for it and try that is there any way of bypassing it to make sure ???and how do you adjust the valves

I just removed the valve cover and you can see both valves. I set both of mine at about .005. You have to make sure you either are at TDC or if you dont want to do it that way, make sure the valve you are adjusting is on the Cam lobe base.
