It's called a zircon? Post a picture of it. May be their newest one the replacement for the Helix.

its real nice. i like the speed and power. they just put up one of those sheriff things that show u how fast your going and i was able to do 41 stock. i was thinking about doing some mods like the air filter. the only thing i dont like is the stiff steering. but its a kart trying to compare it to a caddy i guess.

i believe the zircon is the replacement for the carbide. i've seen some articles on it over the last couple weeks. other than some cosmetic differences, it's about the same thing.

here is a link to TSC web page on it.

It is actually the replacement to the Helix because I emailed American Sportworks asking if there was a new version of the Helix and they said they had just come out with this one.
PS: I believe Honda makes the gy6

Ok so american sportworks finally got back with me because TSC gave me the wrong owners manual. They say the Zircon is model 6152 with a gy6 engine made by SLI. anyone heard of this manufacture?

Hi Jadrex,

I just got a Zircon and wanted to ask you if you were able to resolve the stiff steering issue. Mine is horrible. Any ideas?

Haven't seen the Zircon yet but all other GY6 engines in the ASW buggies are made by the Hammerhead factory.

the ASW's have the internal reverse. Does hammerhead do that? I thought they had external.

If you were to purchase a Hammerhead, Kandi, icebear,Trailmaster or ASW buggies they will all have the same internal reverse engine. I came to realise this while working on some Helix and Carbide buggies, when the CVT cover was pulled the case said Hammerhead. Also there is a small 1'' x 2'' silver sticker on the top of engine case which gives the epa info. This as well says HammerHead Intl'. Some say it is the same engine as the old HH 200 engine for which I had also thought, but after seeing a Hammerhead 200 engine they are not the same. ASW is now building the small kids carts for Hamerhead right here in the USA and I had heard they may be building the 150's as well in the near future if not already.
