Default 36 miles on new Trail Master 150 cc ; acts like it isn't getting gas

Just got a Trail Master 150 cc and it will turn over but will not start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

double check the electrical and vacuum connections. You say you put some miles on it.. Did it get soaked? hard bump? Anything that might have upset it?

Check the air filter. I have seen them get oil soaked. The valve cover breather tube runs into the air box and can blow engine oil on the air filter. When the paper filter gets oil soaked it will not draw enough air.

You can check to see if it needs gas by removing the spark plug and adding a 1/4 oz. of gas to the cylinder. Be careful when tightening the spark plug back up. The threads can be easily stripped.
