Default Is this needed

I am working on a Roketa GK28 and just put a 150cc engine in from a hammerhead.but noticed that under the box that holds the starter solinode and cdi there is a small long cermic part that has 2 wires coming from it.what is it and what does it do? do I need it? where does connect to

If you are running the stock carb you need it. It is the resistor for the enrichener(choke)

It is a resistor laid in ceramic. I can't remember what it goes to, but I'm pretty sure you will need to retain it to the engine it came from.
