Question trailmaster fwd/reverse calibration

Hey any trailmaster 150cc owners ever adjust the forward/reverse cables? putting buggy in forward sometimes results in it grinding then thunking into gear. The owners manual seems like kind of a broken Chinese into broken English translation.. any advise on how to dial it in?

too high of idle can cause issues. try turning the idle screw out to lower rpm, then cable tighten or loosen.

Tighten/loosen at the back where the spline is or up at the shifter?

Try turning your idle down some first.
