Default First "trip" in the 300xrx

For Christmas Santa brought my family a pair of Trailmasters, a 150xrx for the little ones, and a 300xrx which is technically for the bigger kids, but I secretly call it mine. While the 150 is pretty much stock, with the exception of grab handles, cup holder, red led brake light strip, and side mounted rear view mirrors, the 300 received the same treatment plus a spotlight, uni filter, drilled out carb jet, and today I painted the fenders body color. We've enjoyed riding around the property and neighborhood. But today I finally took the 300 down to the end of the road and into the National forest that borders our area.
This involves driving a mile or so down a county road, thus the extra mirrors and brake lights. Oh, and since we plan on doing some night driving, I also stuck a couple of battery powered led "dome lights" to the roll bars. :-) Really looking forward to the summer!

Sounds like a good time. I take mine to my dad's house since he has more land and trails than I do around me.

Yeah, it was a hoot! I've driven this area a few times in my Jeep, but it's funny what you notice when you're 12 inches off the ground at only 25mph lol!

Funny how 25-30 mph feels kinda fast but my supercharged Jeep is never fast enough.

Thumbs up

Supercharged? Cool! I've got a Hemi Commander with a cold air kit and a Diablo tune. I can't imagine what forced induction would be like!
Too bad the SRT guys never got hold of the XJ...

Mine's an 07 Commander Ltd Hemi 4x4. Quadra Drive II, grill/bumper/headlight guard, roof rack, 3" lift, a plethora of KCs, Rusty's shocks & struts, "Hummer Recovery" tow hook...
If that's a soccer mom SUV, then 'scuse me while I squeeze into my yoga pants. :-D

I was calling their Commander their "soccer mom" SUV because it had a third row I love them (the grab handles on the back are always sweet)
