Talon 150cc will not start
I just got this buggy for my son, it would idle when I picked it up but would not accellerate. Cleaned outthe carb(it was clogged up) and got it to run only with the pedal press half way down. Then it was running and popping. Not running good at all. I ordered a brand new Carb and now it will not start. It sounds like it trys to after spinning it for a long time, but never really starts. I sprayed it with starting fluid and still not start. I do believe it is fireing so I dont think that is the cause.
Buggy is a 2004 and I dont think the valves have every been adjusted. Do you think they could be causing this? The owner told me he replaced the CDI and the coil because it was busting up when trying to run it. Now after my son drove it for about 8 miles busting up and I put a new carb on it will not start. Just hits like it is trying to but doesnt start. I am thinking valves...I really need to get this running for him. He wants to ride it so bad!!! Thanks for any suggestions.

Ok it is started and running. The valves were to tight. I adjusted them and it fired right up. I also found out that there is no air filter in the air box. Does anyone know what kind goes in there and what holds it in. The dumb nuts that had this before me rigged alot of stuff before I got it.
