Default Clutch Bell

Anyone tried a good performance clutch bell? I upgraded mine to the NCY bell a few months back, but it looks like it is wearing out already. It is a dark purple color and doesnt seem to always hook up. Maybe this is why it seems like my new TK variator isnt kicking in for a second or two when i punch it from a dead stop? I am thinking of swapping back to the 1k clutch springs and a new bell. The surface on the inside of the NCY and stock bell never seemed to have the rough feel to them that i was told they should.

I'd say 80 grit or even a little bit coarser would work
