Default Which would you rather have? Blaster or Raptor 250?

The blaster was a heck of a little four wheeler if they were treated right. We're gonna have to race one with our Raptor 250 to see how well the 250 really performs against the ol' faithful blaster.

the blaster is one of the best entry level 4 wheelers, i don't know if the 250 4 stroke can hang.

Picked up a 1974 Yamaha TY250A for free recently. A few hours cleaning and checking vitals, change oils, etc, she runs, woohoo! After buggie is put back together, gonna tear it down and do a restore.

Imo. 2strokes are fast motors no doubt. But they burn pistons and rings often atleast the banshees is what me and my son use to own. Motors are easy to take apart and fix. 4 strokes are more depandable especialy when it comes to mud, sand, etc.

I too say the 2 smoke will win, higher revs, lighter weight, more power, but the longevity award goes to the 4 strokes. More moving parts, more weight, but efficient and dependable. In a drag, the 2 stroke wins hands down, but in the trails, the torque of the 4 wins.
