Default Carbide Drivers Seat

Carbide owners or anyone else have knowledge, I have a question: Is there a way to modify the drivers seat adjustment mechanism to allow the seat to go further forward? I think my son will come up a couple inches short from the pedals even with the seat all the way forward? Thanks in advance.

You'd have to move the entire rail.

Seems to me though that someone sells pedal extenders that will accomplish the goal. Google go kart pedal extensions.
