Question removing intake manifold stud bolts

How do I remove the stud bolts for the intake manifold? I'm installing a intake riser and apparently need to replace them.

If you aren't going to reuse them, then grab ahold of the stud with a pair of vise grip type pliers and unscrew them. They are threaded into the head, mine weren't too tight. and I don't think I chewed the threads up much.

Gonna try lock-tighting some nuts to the studs and see if i can back them off that way

another easier way is if you have enough threads on the stud is to screw a nut on and then put another nut on top of it. jamb them together tight and then put your wrench on the bottom nut and back it out.
