Default Ideas on how to make this part?

The attached picture is the part I need to make. It's the hose that goes from the air cleaner to the carb on a carbide 7150 GY6. Can't find it for sale. Anybody made one in the past? Ours has ripped. Thanks

Have you thought about using the UNI filter and losing the stocker?

Not too much. I bought a spectre reusable filter with adjustable outlet from advance auto for $20. Use the 4 inch size of it. Go to a plumbing supply store and get a 3 inch to 2 inch reduced which is around $8 and a 1.5 inch to 1.5 inch rubber coupling about $5.

I don't know specifically on your model, but most of them just consist of a rubber coupling, a small piece of pipe (usually from the plumbing dept at Home Depot) and the UNI filter. Also known as the "redneck intake".

Pipe cost is around $5 and the UNI filter is around $20ish. Many guys like Rebel have done similar stuff like this.

Do a search for "redneck instake" and see what you can find.

Ya other than the filter itself you can get the parts at Home Depot. I thought there was a thread on this from a long time ago in the tech section.
