Default Why won't oil go into my GY6 after draining?

Hi, new (old) Yerf Dog Spiderbox GY6 owner here, new to this forum. Got a non running Yerf Dog - not been running for years as far as I know. I just drained the oil - it looked fine, and now I can't seem to get the proper amount of oil back in the motor! Got maybe half a quart in there, most on the floor, seems to be pushing it back out. Never seen this in any of my other machines. Huge mess on the floor. Thanks!

NEVER MIND, stupid me didn't realize that because the motor is so tilted, I need to level it out to fill and get a proper reading. Sorry for wasting anyone's time!
