Question Head lights on when I brake?

For some reason today my HH250 turns on the head lights when the brake pedal is pressed. I do not think this was going on before, I didn't notice it anyway. Is this normal?

I am assuming that this is not normal and know one knows how this could ever happen?

I assume you've done the wire trace? to verify you don't have a chaffed wire making contact to the brake lead.

I did not want to cut all the tape apart, I guess I was hopeful it was something else. I did also notice that there is not a single fuse on the whole buggy.

Since I've never owned your buggy- is there a switch for your lights?

yep, high & low beams. They work fine I think you were 100% right that I have a wire that is chafted. It is the only thing that makes since. Also wondering where to add some fuses?

Many buggies develop shorts in the tail/brake light assemblies due to water intrusion - I would start there and follow the brake circuit.

Your buggy may have only a main fuse off the battery. You need to decide if you will add some inline fuses to various electrical functions or if you are going to mount a central fuse box. Your first step is find the power distribution splice and decide what will work best from there.
